TRACE Director, Ata Tara, was contributed to various design projects during his past employment at MODE, Design. Key design projects include:
- Neighbourhood Park: Ata as part of design team, worked with the local council to develop a concept that reflects the character of this community. The open space comprises play and barbeque areas, along with sports courts and large open spaces for recreation. The parklands form a community hub for recreation activities that accommodate families of all ages along with sporting teams and community groups.
- Subtropical Rooftop: MODE’s landscape architecture team worked on a rooftop garden that connects two prominent buildings in Brisbane's Central Business District. The designs feature significant areas of landscape to soften the surrounding urban environment, while working with false floors to achieve a design that is both practical and high amenity. Viewing platforms frame this open space with emphasis on views to King Edward Park and the centre of the city.
- Tennis Centre Masterplan: MODE’s landscape architecture team prepared a masterplan for tennis centre. The design concept tennis theme for the proposed facility with consideration of minimising hard surfaces and maximising native planting.
