Rabbit Ridge Wind Farm Appeal
A proposal for a wind farm received more than 70 objections from the local community which resulted in a lengthy appeal over several years. Adverse impacts on the landscape character and scenic amenity of the rural landscape were some of the matters of conflict which were investigated and mediated during the JER process. Photomontages, ZVI modellings and shadow flicker analysis provided an objective basis for visual amenity experts to understand the degree of visual impacts.
